About the Role:
AllianceEPC is seeking a Junior PLC Specialist to join our growing Onsite Services team in Port Arthur, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of a senior controls specialist, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of control systems in a highly technical environment.
You will be part of a team responsible for supporting and maintaining facility-wide process control systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and a long-term interest in growing within the automation and controls field.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under senior mentors to learn, support, and maintain facility-wide PLC systems
Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining control system hardware and software
Gain exposure to a variety of platforms including Foxboro, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, and GE
Follow safety and compliance standards, including site-specific protocols
Participate in control system upgrades, improvements, and documentation
Opportunity for long-term growth into advanced technical roles within the company
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of relevant industry experience
Exposure to or willingness to train on platforms such as Foxboro, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, and GE (training provided)
Must have or be able to obtain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning
Preferred Experience:
Background in industrial environments
